Bars and Shadows drawn

A society/world/realm built of cold/rigid/unfeeling concrete/masonry/structures. Where dreams/hopes/aspirations fade/dwindle/disappear behind barbed/metallic/steel fences. We are trapped/confined/imprisoned within these boxes/cells/enclosures, each a reflection/embodiment/manifestation of our own limitations/fears/despair. The city pulses indifferent/unaware/blind to the anguish/suffering/plight inside. The clanging/rumbling/thumping of machinery reminds us/haunts us/serves as a constant echo that our freedom/agency/willpower is a myth/illusory/nonexistent.
